The purpose of the Huntington Theatre Company’s Department of Education and Community Programs is to foster and support a direct and passionate engagement for youth, educators, artists, and the broader community in all aspects of the theatre experience.

This year the Huntington's education programs will reach 29,000 young people, and the centerpiece of that program, the place where opportunity begins, is our student matinee program.  Thousands of young people come to the theatre each year either at no charge or for a nominal fee, and that ticket subsidy will cost the Huntington over $250,000 this year alone.

• $25 pays for one student to attend a matinee
• $50 pays for two students to attend a matinee
• $100 pays for four students to attend a matinee
