Blastin' in the B! 2014 - BCS's biggest party of the year is over and it really was a BLAST!!

Thank you to our entire BCS community for all of our wonderful volunteers and participation in our online auction, live auction, carnival, raffle, cake walk, boutique, prize room and fantastic food.

Your contributions to the BCS PTSA through the Blast allows our children to explore new ideas and new worlds through innovative technology and programs that per-pupil funding does not cover.

We depend on generous donations for everything we do.  Just some of the enriching technology and programs that you have come to expect from BCS, which the BCS PTSA Blast funds have provided or supported over the past several years include:

Technology:  iPads, MacBook airs, iPods, digital cameras, Moodle hosting, tech cafes, flip cameras, web hosting, Covington technology celebration, software.

Classroom Support:  books for classroom libraries, IXL math, RAZ kids, Time for Kids, Spelling City, science kits, Storyworks magazine, novels for 7/8 language arts, quia, engineering technology consumables, Spanish videos & music, art supplies, sheet music, board games.

Curriculum Enrichment:  Science Olympiad, Lego Robotics, Battle of the Books, Forensics, Wordmasters, Engineers in Algebra, Birbery, Art Alive, Reflections, junior great books, theatre production, Future Cities, ZON servers, National Geographic Bee, Spelling Bee.

Social Events:  coney bingo, 5/6 game night, ice cream social, new family events, 7/8 dances, dads’ & moms’ eat-and-runs.
