KPCW Radio is a non-profit, volunteer supported organization whose mission is to educate, inform, entertain and provide access to a diverse community with quality local, national and international programming.
On-air since July 2, 1980, KPCW is the “most trusted” news source and serves as the only daily source of local information.[1] KPCW also live streams its programs to listeners to all seven continents.
KPCW dedicates five hours a day to award-winning, in-depth local news and interviews, with a particular emphasis on reports from city and county government meetings. KPCW broadcasts up-to-the minute information on local emergencies, road conditions and weather. The station also offers critical support to local not-for-profit organizations, providing interviews and airing over 26,000 free public service announcements each year to promote their events and programs.
