A DIFFERENT KIND OF GALA: DOWN IN MISSISSIPPI

VIRTUAL LIVESTREAM - CELEBRATING BOBBY RUSH

In conjunction with the 2020 GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi Virtual Gala, the museum has launched its first-ever online auction. The online auction will be live from Friday, October 23 to Thursday, November 12, ending at 9 pm CST.

GRAMMY® award winning blues legend Bobby Rush will be the recipient of the second annual Crossroads of American Music Award and will appear at the livestreamed ceremony to accept the award AND perform. Special guests Steve Azar and Cedric Burnside will also perform during the livestream.

Proceeds from the auction and 2020 Virtual Gala will benefit the educational mission of the museum. That mission is to use music as a gateway to learning by inspiring and cultivating creativity, critical thinking and self-expression.
