Brown School Annual Spring Gala - Learning in the 21st Century

On Friday, April 4, 2014 Brown School will hold its Annual Spring Gala. This year, we celebrate The Brown School Difference: Learning in the 21st Century. Brown School has always taken a forward thinking approach to education in our continued commitment to academic excellence. We know that learning in the 21st Century must incorporate risk taking, working collaboratively, thinking creatively and being adaptive. At Brown School, we are training the children who will be the future innovators and leaders in our region, and for over 120 years, our community has supported our endeavor. To illustrate this Brown School Difference, we have invited the team from Koppett and Company, a consulting firm specializing in the application of improvisational theatre and storytelling techniques to enhance individual performance, to lead us in a fun-filled evening of games and stories. Our friends from Koppett and Company will show us how learning in a comfortable and dynamic, environment ??A?A?enables better brainstorming and innovation, more respectful, trusting and satisfying relationships, clearer communication and problem-solving, and deeper understanding and connection.??A?A? In other words, how Brown School??A?A?s philosophy of education benefits its students and our community. Our Gala evening will include an event-only silent auction and various other raffle and auction opportunities. We will also feature our popular Online Auction from March 31 to April 9, 2014.
