Join us on the Great Stage of the Mann as a guest maestro for a 2013 season presenting orchestral performance. Have the unique opportunity to rehearse with our great performers before the performance, and make your debut in front of thousands of eager Philadelphians.
But you cannot conduct without a baton! Take home several signed by internationally acclaimed conducted Charles Dutiot, as well as a signed photograph. Charles Dutoit recently completed four wonderful seasons with The Philadelphia Orchestra as Chief Conductor. Renowned for polished and idiomatic interpretations of an eclectic array of musical styles and since his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1980, Charles Dutoit has been invited each season to conduct other major orchestras of the United States, including those of Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Pittsburgh. He has also performed regularly with all the great orchestras of Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic and Amsterdam's Concertgebouw Orchestra as well as with all the London orchestras, the major orchestras of Japan, South America and Australia.

Orchestra and date is based on programming for the 2013 summer season. Dates are subject to change. Winner must be present for pre-show rehearsal in order to conduct on concert evening.
