If the winning bidder is from southern Maine, they may pick the painting up in Corthell Hall on USM's Gorham campus. If this painting is to be shipped to far reaches of Maine or to another state, the winning bidder will assume the cost of shipping, which will be determined.
Peter Nelson's work is gorgeous. The winning bidder will be very fortunate indeed.
Item Special Note
Peter Nelson's heart and eye capture the light and architectural lines established in his native New England, where he spends summers painting on Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine.
Nelson began painting as a hobby in 1985 and is self taught, learning a lot about watercolor by watching his mom paint. He is a juried member of the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society and an active member of the Sedona Arts Center where he exhibits work in the annual member shows. He has received numerous awards for his paintings.
