Item Description

The prize package includes two tickets to ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, Monday, November 26 and airfare from Traverse City to Los Angeles leaving Monday, November 26 at 5:40 a.m.; return trip on Wednesday, November 28 at 10:59 a.m., compliments of Delta (hotel not included).

The prize package will be awarded to the highest bidder. Money raised will benefit ABC 29&8’s Erika Erickson’s SwingShift and the Stars charity, Michigan Blood’s Bone Marrow program.

Opening Bids start at $750.

This auction ends 12pm Friday, November 16, 2012.

Item Special Note

Dancing with the Stars LIVE-details:

Your name will be on the guest list, you will not require an actual ticket.

Your arrival time is: 3:30 pm. It is very important for you to be in your  seat by 4:20. If you are not seated by that time your seat will be given up. Since this is a live show, we will not be able to seat any late arrivals. There will be no exceptions made.  (Please make sure you give yourself enough time for traffic, to find parking at the Grove, and to get through the check-in table)

The Age limit for the show is 10. I am sorry but we can not make any exceptions!

Dress Attire:

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR JEANS!! Even if they are really nice or really expensive!!   No one wearing jeans will be permitted into the studio!

This is a glamorous show, and a beautiful looking audience is a crucial part of the overall atmosphere, with that being said we ask the ladies come dressed in fancy cocktail attire, or a nice pants suit and gentlemen wear a jacket and tie or if you can’t bear the thought of both please wear one or the other.

Please DO NOT WEAR- white, baseball caps, t-shirts with messages of support.

Please do not bring any cameras, cell phones/pagers, food or drink with you into the studio.  We also ask that you downsize any purses and other belongings that you may have with you for the evening.

By attending the show you grant the producers of television program Dancing With The Stars (hereinafter, “the Program”), BBC Worldwide Productions, LLC, The Walt Disney Company, their parents and affiliated companies, and all their respective officers, agents, employees, successors, assigns and those licensed to exhibit the program (collectively, “the Producers”) consent to use your name, voice, picture, and likeness in the Program and in publicity

Air Travel: Ticket prizes will be awarded in the form of Certificates that must be redeemed by November 28, 2012 Travel must be between Monday November 26, 2012 and November 28, 2012.  Certificates may be redeemed for round-trip coach class travel on Delta from the winner’s home gateway toLos Angeles.  Any transportation that is unclaimed, is not awarded or is otherwise not used by the travel completion date specified will be forfeited. 

Certificate seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets.  Certificates are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash and are void if sold or bartered.  The sale or barter of tickets obtained through redemption of Certificates is also prohibited.  Any tickets obtained through such sale or barter are void and will not be honored for travel.  After ticketing, date, time and routing changes are permitted (subject to the availability booking class) however a $150 fee applies.  For travel within the US/Canada, based on availability, passengers holding confirmed reservations and tickets may confirm earlier/later same day flight within 3 hours from scheduled departure time between same origin/destination for a non-refundable fee of $50 USD/$61CAD.

Certificates do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $2.50 which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger’s ticketed itinerary.  A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.   For travel within the United States/PR/U.S. Virgin Islands, $25  fee for 1 checked bag and $35  fee for second checked bag.    Allowances subject to size/weight limits.  These taxes and fees are subject to change, are the responsibility of the passenger and (except for bag fees) must be paid at the time the ticket is booked.  Any taxes, fees, or changes paid at the time of ticket issuance will be refunded if ticket is not used.  However, once redeemed, Certificates are void and will have no further value.  Certificate travel will not qualify for SkyMiles mileage.  Stopovers/Upgrades/Waitlisting/Open Returns are not permitted for tickets booked with Certificates.  Lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed Certificates will not be replaced.  Schedules are subject to change without notice.  Additional restrictions may apply.
