Description

This is an opportunity to sponsor a student to take part in this Zoom session with Bryan Tucker.

LaG Parent and Saturday Night Live co-head writer will lead a comedy writing workshop. Aspiring comedians and writers don't want to miss this chance for the inside scoop from one of the industry's best! In addition to his work at SNL, Bryan Tucker is a stand up comedian and sketch actor who has written for some of the top TV sketch shows in the past decade including The Chris Rock Show and Chappelle's Show.

Bryan is a nine-time Emmy nominee, the recipient of a Peabody Award, and three Writers Guild Awards. A sketch that Bryan wrote for Chappelle's Show ("The Race Draft") was picked as #12 on Nerve and IFC.com's "50 Greatest Sketches of All Time." The New York Times said Bryan's Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks sketch "wasn?t just the best sketch of the ?S.N.L.? election season. It was some of the best political analysis of the campaign."

Before he broke into TV writing, Bryan was a performer who played over 500 shows around the country as a stand up and as a player in the sketch/ improv group Selected Hilarity. Bryan still does stand up around New York.
