In February 2016, you helped us rescue a little bear cub named Rose. She was lost, alone, and had severed her front leg - likely the horrible toll of a poacher's snare.
With your support, Wildlife SOS veterinarians did everything possible to mend her.
Rose's plight inspired us to successfully petition Amazon.in to remove animal snares and traps from it's sight.
And while Rose herself began a remarkable turnaround, improving physically and psychologically this past year, even the most optimistic were shocked by what came next...
Wildlife SOS caught Rose taking to the trees! Climbing like every other bear even with only partial use of her front limb! Thanks to your continued support, the dedicated veterinarians and keepers - and most of all to Rose's own amazing spirit and will - this once shattered little cub has become the adventurous, playful bear we always hoped she'd be.
