Handcrafted in Brooklyn, New York, Maple is an experiment in combining the common practicality of a windsor chair, with the extravagance and decorative aspects of a Victorian chaise lounge. With animal-like legs, Maple has an appearance of animated mobility, adding to the fantastical idea of the piece. Crafted using traditional joining and bending techniques, Maple warps the idea of what's possible within the characteristics of the chosen material. The dimensions on this piece are 59'' long, 27.5'' at the widest point and 53'' at the tallest point. It is also surprisingly light and easy to move.
