The "sax-iest" Shark in the Park was created by a team of First Night Chatham volunteers to celebrate 25 years of First Nights in Chatham coming up on December 31st of this year. First Night Chatham Celebrates the Arts with Family and Friends, and the shark displays 25 years of First Night buttons, with saxophone and silver tophat to evoke the fun and music of First Night.
The First Night Chatham Silver Jubilee celebrations during the summer express First Night's appreciation to the community of volunteers, patrons, and contributors for 25 years of support. You can support the Chatham Merchants and the Chatham community with the purchase of one of the Sharks in the Park.
The First Night Chatham shark would love to take part in this year's and future First Night celebrations. The waters around Chatham will be cold by December and the real sharks will be gone, but First Night will be warm with the family-friendly fun and entertainment that has become the hallmark of 25 years of celebrating the arts. If you buy this shark, First Night Chatham would welcome an opportunity to display it at First Night Headquarters during late December.
The back of the shark invites you to visit First Night's website at www.firstnightchatham.com for all the information about this year's Silver Jubilee summer activities, and come back to the website later to preview the schedule for this year's First Night Chatham on New Years Eve.
