Squid-ward is the theme for the Oyster River Boatyard shark thanks to CCLCS!
This shark was created by the 8th grade Art students at the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School. CCLCS students spend their 3 years collaborating and expressing themselves with many different media. In a project based learning atmosphere, they jump at the chance to create through exploration. Part of the school’s mission is to connect and share with the greater community. The Sharks in the Park project served as a perfect canvas for discovery of the students’ role as active artists in the Cape community.
Oyster River Boatyard is a full service marina located in West Chatham, Massachusetts. We are located on Oyster River which empties into the pristine protected waters of Nantucket Sound and the Southway in Chatham via Stage Harbor. Pristine beaches, spectacular fishing, and site seeing are just a short cruise away.
