A visit to the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and HM The Queen's favourite weekend home. The private visit is conducted personally by distinguished retired British Army officer and a member of the Military Knights of Windsor who will also host lunch.
The original castle was built after the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror. Since the time of Henry I it has been used by a succession of monarchs and is the longest occupied palace in Europe at which more than 500 people live and work. The visit includes the State Apartments, the Upper, Middle and Lower Wards, St. George's Chapel and the gardens and park.
