The restaurant offers specialities such as Ika Vaka Lolo, freshly caught Walu (Spanish Mackerel) Poached in Coconut Lolo with local root crops with a glass of New Zealand Sav or tempt your tastebuds with something a bit heavier like local Eye Fillet steak from the Yaqara district matched with a full bodied red.
Enjoy five days of two tank boat diving for two with Ra Divers, a fully certified PADI and SSI Dive Resort. The reefs in the surrounding Bligh Waters are some of the healthiest in the world, with very little pollution and few boats, so you’ll be able to see an array of marine life including anemone fish, turtles, colourful soft coral and reef sharks.
There are more than 50 superb dive sites in the area, with most of the best sites no more than 20 minutes by boat from Volivoli Beach. Some of Ra Divers’ most popular sites are in the fascinating Vatu i ra Passage. These sites are a mixture of walls, bommies and drift dives, all of which are teeming with life and colour. Sites like Black magic mountain, Mellow yellow and Instant replay will soon be etched in your memory forever! For those seeking a real thrill ‘Breathtaker’ is a deep reef dive to see an incredible display of large fish, white tip, black tip, whalers and grey reef sharks.
The Papuan Explorer, a popular wreck dive, situated in 20 meters of water, is Fiji‘s largest and most accessible wreck and is teaming with marine life. The Ovalau offers an exhilarating 55 meter dive into a roll-on roll-off car ferry which sunk on 23rd August 2003.
