Connecticut's premiere marine sciences educational and oceanographic cruises institution, Project Oceanology, is celebrating 44 years of maine science education and exploration excellence.
Project Oceanology's national award-winning marine and maritime public education cruises depart from the University of Connecticut's Avery Point campus located on the beautiful Long Island Sound at 1084 Shennecossett Road, Groton, CT, 06340.
The 2.5-hour hands-on educational cruises take place aboard the 55-foot research vessel Enviro-Lab. ON the Oceanographic Cruise, during the summer and fall months, passengers can set a trawl net with the help of the professional and certified staff and interact with marine life and living organisms from the bottom of Long Island Sound. In winter, Maine seals that call Fishers Island Sound their seasonal home may be observed in their natural habitat during the Seal Watch Cruise departing from Avery Point.

If this item is won it can be picked up at Canton Intermediate School, 39 Dyer Avenue in Canton, CT, between 8am and 11am on Saturday, February 25th, 2017. If the winner is unable to make the local pick up, the item can also be shipped within the continental US at the expense of the winner. If shipping is requested, shipping costs will be added to the winning bid amount. The shipping charge for this item is $7 and is non-negotiable. This item will be mailed to the winner via USPS Priority Mail which includes USPS Tracking®. Shipping is calculated for each item won and will not be combined/reduced for winners of multiple items.
