Description
Nicholas Weinstock, a member of the Authors Guild Council for 20 years who now runs the Los Angeles-based movie and television production company Red Hour together with his partner Ben Stiller, will read your book, short story, play, or screenplay and take you out to lunch—either in New York or Los Angeles, whichever is most convenient for you—to discuss its possibilities as a TV series and/or film and advise you accordingly. Red Hour is currently developing a dozen movies at Fox, MGM, Lionsgate, Paramount, Sony, and with various independent financiers as well as television series at Showtime, TBS, Amazon, IFC, Hulu, Netflix, and other major studios and networks.
Nicholas Weinstock began his career writing for The Nation and The New York Times Magazine, working at Spy magazine, and editing books at Random House and Riverhead Books. He is the author of a non-fiction book, The Secret Love of Sons; the novels As Long as She Needs Me and The Golden Hour; and essays and articles for National Public Radio, Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Out, The Huffington Post, and other national publications.

This prize cannot be resold or put on auction. Books that are part of any prize will be shipped within a month of the close of the auction unless otherwise specified.
