Tanis loves Iris and they showcase beautifully on a cat.
Artist Bio:
Tanis Bula was born in McGregor, Iowa and relocated to Colorado when she got married. “I have always been involved in art in some way. My first job was with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City and after that I had a graphics design business in Denver for many years.” She also has years of experience teaching watercolor classes and now paints for shows and sales.
Tanis exhibits her work at Art of Life Gallery on S. Jason Street in Denver and Bruno’s Italian Restaurant at Monaco and Evans. She is also represented by the Artwork Network, an art consulting firm which rotates paintings around in different businesses in Denver. Tanis is known for her lovely floral paintings, specifically iris.
Tanis lives in Denver with her husband and “a wonderful and totally spoiled black male cat named Mr. Sandman. I have taught him several tricks like High Five and lie down, which he will do for treats.”
Online Bidding:
We are offering online bidding for the Painted Cats, Flat Cats, Clay Cats and the Paper Cats from May 13th through September 13th. Online bidding will close on September 13th.
Bidding will resume at the Tails of the Painted Cats Gala Dinner & Auction on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Pinehurst Country Club from 5-8pm.
Please note: If you are unable to attend the Gala Dinner be sure to set your maximum bid online by September 13th and we will serve as your proxy bidder during the event.
Winning bidders are responsible for all shipping costs.
The Painted Cat will be shipped through UPS. Delivery signature and insurance will be required. The cost for insurance will be based on the winning bid amount.

All cats will be available for pick up at the Gala Dinner & Auction on September 16, 2017. Cats that need to be shipped will be shipped on September 18, 2017.
