Artist Inspiration:

Wendy loves classic Hollywood movies and likes the idea of dressing the cat with the pictures. He will be at the Graumans Chinese Theater and on the Red Carpet for the Oscars. The excitement of the Oscars and the glitz and the glamour of the actors as they arrive must have been a wonderful experience in the 1930’s, 1940’s, and 1950’s.

Artist Bio:

Wendy Luck is an accomplished artist with a love of many art mediums including acrylics, charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, and collage. Born in New York, Wendy moved to Colorado after graduating from college and has lived here ever since; enjoying the Rocky Mountains.

Wendy credits her artistic father as the origin of her talent. She initially pursued a career in geology and then through an interesting confluence of events, found her way back to art.  She has exhibited her work at the Lakewood Arts Gallery, the Cat House Gallery, and the biennial Western Interior Paleontological Society (WIPS) Symposium and Art Show. Wendy shares her life with her husband, grown children, and a dog and cat menagerie in Arvada, Colorado. This is her fourth Tails of the Painted Cats.
