 America's Cup Sailing Experience

Your party of two will enjoy a hands-on 3-hour sail on the famous America's Cup yacht "Stars & Stripes USA 11". With masts as high as an 11-story building, these precision-tuned racing yachts are the fastest mono-hull sailing vessels in the world. You can pitch in and be a part of the sailing crew - manning the wheel or grinding the winches - or just relax and take in this magnificent 80-foot high-tech racing machine as you cruise effortlessly through the sheltered waters of beautiful San Diego Bay. A sail on an America’s Cup yacht is a once-in-a-lifetime treat.

Sailings are on weekends (Thursdays through Sunday during the summer), subject to availability. Up to 18 participants on the yacht. Must be at least five years of age.

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, San Diego

Enjoy a 3-night stay for two in a deluxe guest room, including daily resort fee. This luxury hotel in La Jolla, a charming coastal community, sprawls over nearly 10 acres of award-winning landscaping. The resort-style hotel features rancho-style architecture, the recently re-imagined Spa at Estancia, including an executive fitness center, a heated saltwater pool and whirlpool. There are several dining options on the property, including the Trinitas Cellars Wine Bar, where Napa meets San Diego.  This premier Southern California destination is conveniently located near San Diego’s best hiking, biking, kayaking, and more.  Blackout dates (2017): Jul 19-23; Oct 3-5.

 Airfare This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any major metropolitan airport in the 48 contiguous United States to San Diego, CA, subject to availability.

Airfare must be booked within one year from the date of purchase. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the purchaser. Blackout dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks.

Business and First Class upgrades are available at the time of booking for an additional fee. Use of frequent flyer miles for upgrades is dependent on specific ticket restrictions as determined by the airline’s frequent flyer program.

Must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance. Reservations are subject to availability and hotel may be substituted for comparable or better property. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All purchases are non-refundable. Packages cannot be resold. Suggested retail value is calculated using tariff air rates and rack room rates. Ground transportation is not included.

  • Selected items will be available for pick-up at the League of Volunteers office in Newark no later than July 31st;

  • If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges and insurance will apply and will be billed to your account.

  • CA residents are subject to sales tax, where applicable.
