About Camp Ramah:
In our beautiful site in the heart of the Ojai Valley, your child?s summer will be filled with swimming, arts and crafts, sports, Israeli dance, Jewish music, cooking, organic gardening, drama/musical theater, ropes course, hiking, camping trips and much more! Our sports program includes basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, Krav Maga, aerobics, kick boxing, ga-ga?and an all-camp Maccabiah!
You can depend on our staff to help children entering 3rd to 11th grade discover their own talents and interests and find the connection between the Jewish traditions and their lives. Beyond activities, Ramah staff are trained to teach and reinforce Jewish values including honesty, community, Torah, honor, and God, and share how they underlie a concern for each individual and the development of a spirited and warm community. Hebrew is spoken and learned at camp in a spirit unique to Ramah, with our Hebrew plays and engaging classes making both Hebrew and Judaism come alive!
The lessons our campers learn at stay with them well after they return home, and a Ramah summer is truly an experience that will last a lifetime.
