Marina's Watercolors. Marina is famed for her original watercolors, cards, prints as well as her architectural renderings. Marina is also known for her watercolor commissions to do home portraits.

About Marina. I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and have been in the New Orleans Area since 1965. I have a BS degree from the University of New Orleans in Mechanical Engineering.  I have always been interested in Art, and now I have been pursuing my dreams to become an artist since the year 2000.  I prefer using watercolors because of the challenge they present due to the fast drying property of the medium. Since I was not able to pursue and Art education, I was leaning more toward an architecture degree, but since Tulane university was the only place in New Orleans offering it, it was beyond our means.  I am fulfilling this love for architecture by painting the diversity of styles in the New Orleans area and places I visit in my travels. I take commissions to do watercolor house portraits of peoples homes from photos. I am a member of the New Orleans Art Association, and La. Watercolor Society. I have participated in numerous markets throughout  the city, and have had solo artists exhibitions at Stonebridge Country Club, Grand Victorian Bed and Breakfast, La. Pizza Kitchen, and other venues around the city. My greeting cards printed from my original watercolors, prints and originals are sold at area markets, Estella?s Home, Judy?s at the Rink, Friends of the Cabildo, Elna Pralines, Forever Nola, Longue Vue Gardens, Hilton Hotel, Botanical Garden, Antoine?s Annex, Aunt Sally?s Pralines, Roosevelt Hotel, Papier Plume and by contacting me via the contacts link
