Mayfair Festival of the Arts is a 30-year tradition in the Lehigh Valley and it is making a comeback at Cedar Crest College! Cedar Crest is taking Mayfair back to its roots by giving festival-goers the same experience that they had and loved decades ago. The event will be held on the College's campus and will feature food and craft vendors, artists, music, and live performances over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27, 2018. The leadership team at Cedar Crest views this as a fantastic opportunity to invite the community to our beautiful 85-acre campus to enjoy the breathtaking views of our arboretum, the sights and sounds of local artists, and the great tastes of the Valley. We are passionate about continuing this traditional festival of the arts and looks forward to restoring the FREE admission festival. Activities at Mayfair Festival of the Arts: There will be something to suit a wide variety of tastes: sculpture artisans, fine artists, professional photographers, jewelers, woodworkers, and many more. There will also be an area for children, known as Franki?s Fun Zone, with entertainment for the whole family. Visual art is not the only art form celebrated during Mayfair Festival of the Arts. Music from local artists span the spectrum, from funk, soul, rock, country, and dance and will be featured on the main stage, bandstand, or roving (all outdoor). You?re sure to find a suitable jam during the festival. There are, of course, plenty of foods from a variety of local vendors whose offerings range from classic festival fare to exotic treats.
