Description
For years, Semifreddi's Bakery has been providing the Bay Area with delicious breads and pastries without making you take out a second mortgage to get your paws on them. They search the world for the finest ingredients; fennel from India, flour from Idaho (yes, Idaho is its own country), sesame from India and Central America, poppy seeds from Australia and the Netherlands, cinnamon from Indonesia and Vietnam, vanilla from Madagascar. Self proclaimed "pastry nerds," these folks know what they're doing. In the unlikely event you have been living in a remote cave for the mast many years and do not know their wonderful products -- you're in for a treat. If you're already a fan... you're in for a treat.

- Tour hosted by one of Semifreddi's owners.
- Valid for up to 20 people.
- Each visitor receives a free goody bag at the end of the tour.
- Tours are scheduled Tuesday-Friday, at least one month in advance.
- Visitor guidelines will be provided upon scheduling of the tour.
- Minimum age requirement for the tour: 6 years old
