The Brandywine River Museum of Art is one of the country's premier musems of American Art, located on the scenic Brandywine River.
The museum features renowned collections, including works by three generations of the Wyeth Family, early American portraits, pastoral landscapes and elegant stilllife paintings. Housed in a historic stone mill building overlooking the Brandywine River, the museum offers an extensive program of temporary exhibitions randing from 19th C to contemporary art.
