Cabin Get Away: This lovely, spacious and unique cabin sits on 18 acres with a private driveway. It's the perfect family-friendly rustic getaway, featuring lots of solitude, hiking and wildlife. The cabin is located 10 minutes outside of Berkeley Springs (known for massages, spring baths and good food!) in Great Cacapon near the Cacapon River. It's just 2 hours from Washington, D.C.
Please note - this is a real cabin, while it has indoor plumbing, there's no shower and no electricity. The cabin sleeps 6 easily with 2 sets of bunkbeds and a double bed in the sleeping loft (bring your own sleeping bags) and includes a fusball table, indoor swing and hammock, stocked toy chest, wood stove, 2-burner propane gas cook stove, and it's stocked with kitchen basics. There's also a lovely outdoor firepit, perfect for S'Mores and singing 'round the campfire. You and your family and friends will be able to truly unplug, relax and enjoy the mountain views through the large front windows. "Take me home, country roads ..."
