PresentsOfPresence are gifts of experiential discovery:
I design and hand decorate nesting gift boxes filled with my handmade beauty (small wood carvings, hand painted silks, poems written on handmade paper, for example). Their unique beauty imbues a flowing experience of exploration, unwrapping discovery.
As I hold the recipient in my mind, I intuit what kind of experience I will create for them. For me, the action of lifting the gift box lid reflects the idea of opening one's mind and the peering inside reflects being aware, listening to and exploring one's inner self (their heart, their intuition) and recognizing their own preciousness.
I have made many of these gifts enveloped in hand decorated boxes for friends as well as my "imaginary friends" (acquaintances, even strangers). I create and send these gentle surprises unattached to a holiday or birthday, as to me, it imbues the spirit of unconditional love. Sometimes I engender the support of another person, who knows the recipient, to secretly deliver the present, and for me and for them it is delightful to be "in cahoots" for the delight of another :)
Item Special Note
This offer is the first time I will create a PresentsOfPresence for someone I don't choose, which is interesting for me, as I have always been "the decider." :)
Once the PresentOfPresence leaves my hands, I have no interest in how it is received, as that part of the experience has nothing to do with me~it now flows to the one I created the present for me, this reflects the knowledge that there is just as much Grace in receiving as there is in giving.
