Berkshire Playwrights Lab is the region?s only theater exclusively dedicated to the development of new plays. Now celebrating its tenth year, BPL?s flagship summer Staged Reading Series presents elaborately staged readings of original plays with audience talkbacks that assist the playwrights in the development of their work. Many BPL plays have gone on to full productions in other Berkshire venues as well as Boston, NYC, Los Angeles and beyond. This summer, BPL is offering a full production of Some Old Black Man. In January 2017, BPL launched the annual Radius Playwrights Festival, featuring all local artists.
