The winner of this package will receive a 2 night stay in the Nambe room at Rancho Nambe Bed and Breakfast in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Nestled in the lush, peaceful Nambe River Valley, just twenty minutes north of Santa Fe, Rancho Nambe is a rambling 250 year-old adobe hacienda beautifully situated on 15 tree-covered acres. The inviting portal overlooks the swimming pool and the ever-changing Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Thick adobe walls and gentle breezes keep each room cool in the summer and in the winter the kiva fireplaces keep the rooms warm and cozy.
Just minutes from Santa Fe and our world famous Opera, Rancho Nambe is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy all the varied activities of the area. We are close to the Bandelier National Monument and its ancient Indian cliff dwellings, near to neighboring pueblos and just a short drive to Los Alamos. You will be able to explore the history of the area from arrowheads to atoms. Enjoy the wonderful museums and art in Santa Fe or take the High Road to Taos and then come "home" to relax by the pool in the shade of the Cottonwood trees.
This beautiful old double adobe Hacienda has been home to many families in the past two hundred and fifty years. At one time it was the Nambe Polo Club, the only active place to play Polo in New Mexico. The bell that was used to ring the quarters still sits on the property. Today Rancho Nambe is a working ranch. It serves as a facility for training and showing Arabian and half-Arabian Horses. Find out more at Rochester Show Horses.
