About the Cookseys:
"Kathy and Ronny Cooksey are the proud parents of 9 children and veterans of home schooling! Ronny was the pastor of a church in McMinnville, Oregon and is now a pastor in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Math Specialization, Kathy enjoyed being an Admissions Counselor at Dallas Baptist University and then taught 1st grade to some delightful students in Texas.
When her oldest, Micah, was 3 years old and the family lived in Japan as Southern Baptist missionaries, she started her own school -- at the kitchen table. She has home-schooled all her children since then. When Kathy is not spending time with her children (and sometimes when she is!), she enjoys singing, reading, gardening, researching politics, and protecting kids from the liberal doctrines and "Animal House" lifestyles of universities.
