Description
The Baltimore Choral Arts Society presents Captivity to Liberty on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at 3:00 pm in Kraushaar Auditorium at Goucher College. Music Director Anthony Blake Clark opens the concert with Mendelssohn's Die erste Walpurgisnacht, describing a victory of religious freedom with the text setting of Goethe. The program concludes with the U.S. premiere of Jonathan Dove's triumphant tale of the Minotaur in The Monster and the Maze, featuring Baltimore Choral Arts' largest community collaborations with The Maryland State Boychoir, Muse 360 Arts, and more. Blake Clark will host a Choral Conversation at 2:00 pm prior to the concert.

Goucher College is located at 1021 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson and Kraushaar is accessible to all patrons; parking is free. Tickets will be sent to the winner; they are not exchangeable.
