Description
Working with a team of professional teaching artists, campers build creative confidence and self-awareness, culminating in a presentation inside Baltimore Center Stage's newly renovated theater. Campers explore acting, dance, circus arts, and confidence building and self-expression exercises. Camp dates are June 17-June 28 and July 1-June 12 for children in grades 2-7. Session 3, July 15-July 26 is the new Teen Intensive program. BCS Teen Intensive is a two-week long intensive program for serious young actors, grades 8 through 12. For those considering studying theater in college, this is an especially useful experience. Programmed camp hours are from 8:00 am-4:00 pm; however, there is free supervision from 8:00-9:00 am and from 4:00-4:30 pm.
