Description

Critics have scored this wine 91 points. Made from Crespiello, an ancient grape variety indigenous to the Aragon region of Spain, its source is a century-old vineyard that creates distinctly concentrated and complex wine. This full bodied red was aged two years in seasoned American and French oak then six or more months in bottle. Powerful and ripe and loaded with earthy dried leaves aromas with black fruit, cherry, balsamic and baking spice on the palate. Full body, smooth tannins. Great paring with lamb.
