Description

A-18d:

?Open? line drawing of Chartres labyrinth, 9? x 9? on white paper. Square border, credits Andy Olney for original CAD drawing. ABOUT THE CHARTRES DRAWINGS There are many uses for an accurate drawing of the Chartres labyrinth. They can be taken to Office Depot and laminated for a very modest price, giving you a durable finger labyrinth. While you?re there, you could have additional copies made, for this or other uses. People have paid $50 for my accurate CAD drawing of the labyrinth for making everything from lamp shades to pillows. You can scan this and use it in your literature, brochures, writings, or whatever. Originally I used a drawing made by Andy Olney. Subsequently, I made my own drawing with CAD, which I entered at full scale. Of course you can?t print out a 42-foot pattern very easily (although we did it in Minnesota, didn?t we Lisa?). It is the most accurate drawing that I have seen for the true dimensions and proportions of the Chartres labyrinth. The proportions are very specific and symbolic, so getting them right is important. You could also frame the drawing and just enjoy it. ?Solid? means the pattern is colored in (black). ?Open? means it is an outline.
