Description

Acrylic

13" x 10" x 1.5"

Ann Daum is an artist member of the Providence Art Club, the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative and the AAM. Her work has appeared in the members shows and three individual exhibitions at the PAC. A canvas of her was in the AAM's national juried exhibition "Three." Her work ranges from portraits to landscapes and still-life in oils and pastels. Recently she has begun to paint in acrylic for the vitality of their color.

This painting best illustrates the artist's enchantment with the color she achieved working in acrylics. The blue of the flower and the bright color of the apricots developed an immediacy and brilliance with the medium.
