This limited edition print, numbered and signed by the artist, was created from his drawing at Swain?s Wharf on Nantucket Island. The houses on Swain?s Wharf are small. One can imagine the interesting people who inhabit them. The strong shadows and reflections in the water emphasize how the houses are built on their pilings above the water.
About the Artist: Richard Gerstman spent his career as an industrial designer, working as an advertising artist and designer in Norway and Sweden before returning to the US. For the past 35 years, he has been drawing wherever he travels, creating a beautiful and impressive portfolio of landscapes from around the world.
