Description

The Child Jizo has a serene smile, long ears, and carries a jewel in its hands at waist level, a wish-fulfilling jewel, the mythic gem that can grant any wish. Child Jizo was designed and hand glazed by Jan Chozen Bays, Roshi at Great Vow Zen Monastery and each jewel was placed by her. The successful bidder will receive a statue in the color of their choice.

The statues are available in two skin tones (tan or white) as well as three robe colors (blue, green, or cream with red flames), each of which has special significance.

ZenWorks is operated by Great Vow Zen Monastery of Clatskanie, Oregon. Great Vow is a residential, Zen Buddhist, training monastery "inspired and guided by Jizo Bodhisattva's vow to help all beings who suffer, no matter where they are found."
