Description

A Mid-Week Day of Fly Fishing in New York City waters for various species, including striped bass and bluefish in New York?s iconic Jamaica Bay, just minutes from Manhattan.  Usual species are striped bass, bluefish, and during the fall run, false albacore. Valid during 2020 fishing season.

The winning bidder will be fishing with Captain Danny Reich.  Originally a native New Yorker, growing up Captain Daniel Reich spent most of his free time in the Florida backcountry when his family moved to Tavernier, Florida, in 1985. Always interested in marine biology and wildlife, Reich was thrilled at being so close to Islamorada, the so-called "gamefish capital of the world". He studied the backcountry of Florida Bay, eventually got a skiff and received his USCG Captain's license, and guided there for several years. In 2003, he relocated to New York City, where he works with "One More Cast Charters". Captain Reich is an accomplished fly fisherman, a freelance writer, a fly tier, and he holds a degree in English from New York University.
