Description

Dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World by some, the Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches.

The Eden Project, located in the town of Bodelva in beautiful Cornwall, England is an educational charity that connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future.  Here, massive biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.

Eden is a fun and family-friendly day out. Curious kids can find out where tea, rubber and sugar come from, and travel the world to the simulated environments of tropical destinations that they dream of traveling to in the future. There are themed events according to the seasons, workshops for adults and children, activity days, music concerts and much more besides.

This pass - allowing a one-day visit for two adults and two children is the perfect place for that extra special family day-out!

The winner of this package will enjoy three nights in a family-sized Yurt at the Cotna Eco Retreat on the peaceful Cornish Roseland Peninsula. Cotna is surrounded by some of the most beautiful coastline in Cornwall and close to several family and dog friendly beaches.

Cotna Eco Retreat is just outside Gorran Churchtown, on the south coast ? the stretch of coast from Gorran to St Mawes. The local area is in an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and is characterised by gentle rolling countryside, dramatic cliff and coastal scenery and unspoiled beaches.

There are no major roads and Truro or St Austell are about 12 miles away ? the Eden Project about a half hour drive away. This area of Cornwall is off the beaten track, a lovely place to live and a great place for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year.

Cotna Eco Retreat itself is within walking distance of the sea and near the south west coastal path. It is ideal for walking, cycling or beach holidays standing at equal distances between the beaches of Gorran Haven, Portmellon and Caerhays ? all three within walking distance by public footpaths.
