Advanced Sommelier Wendy Shoemaker has found the rich history surrounding wine as fascinatingly captivating as their aromas and flavors. Sharing wine with others became her passion after being lured away from a career in chemical engineering. Wendy spent 14 years working for the Disneyland Resort, before she directing wine programs for San Diego's Marina Kitchen and San Francisco's St. Francis Yacht Club and 2-Star Michelin rated Californios. She's won numerous industy awards and competitions and is currently Brand Ambassador for Ruinart.
