Anastasia Ganias-Gellin is an actress, certified yogi, wife, mother, and documentary filmmaker on the food industry. At the moment she is currently on tour promoting her latest film Team Marco.
The Fancy Peasant is a destination where Anastasia brings her eclectic style and exceptional taste and knowledge in food ? a stylish, modern spin on traditional Greek mountain cuisine. The Fancy Peasant will host an afternoon at your home or her Southampton home where she will teach you how to cook some of her favorite Greek dishes that you will keep in your back pocket for the rest of your life.
The Day :
Anastasia will go to all of her favorite local farms in the Hamptons (or MA) to pick the ingredients you will be working with. Upon arrival you will be greeted with Greek Mountain Tea or Greek Frappe as you dive into a meet and greet with Anastasia.
After you prepare your first course (meze) you will sit down to enjoy an extraordinary Greek lunch. After lunch you will continue to make your main course and desert and you will go home equipped with a printed sheet of all her families recipes along with a lot of food for your loved ones!
