A $25 Gift Certificate good at any Bru's Room Sports Grill location!

Legend has it that the first Buffalo Style chicken wings were served at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York in 1964. Soon, other Buffalo restaurants added the spicy wings to their menus and everyone in town discovered the taste.  Eddie Hauck, a native of Buffalo, moved to Florida in 1970. As Eddie met and talked with other Buffalo natives who had moved south, he discovered that like him, they all wished there was a local restaurant serving their delicious Buffalo Style chicken wings. Well, Eddie did something about it. In 1974, he opened the first ?Wings ?N Things? Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.

Bob ?Bru? Brudzinski #59, has been an all star since his first playing days in Fremont Ross high School in Ohio. After high school, Bob attended The Ohio State University. During his college career, Bob played in 3 Rose Bowls, the Hula and Japan Bowls. He was voted All American by AP, UPI and NEA football writers, as well as the Kodak and Football News. He was twice All-Big 10 and during his senior year in 1977, Bob celebrated his 22nd birthday during the Buckeye?s Orange Bowl victory. Bob was the Buckeye?s MVP that year and was recently inducted to the Ohio State University Sports Hall of Fame and the All Century Team.

Bob became the first round draft pick of the Rams in 1977 and played in Los Angeles for four years. In 1979, he was the second leading tackler for the Rams and was part of the defense that held Seattle to an NFL record minus 7 yards total offense.

In 1981, Bob was traded to the Miami Dolphins. As a Dolphin, Bob became a strong defensive presence and lead the team in tackles in 1983 and voted Miami?s Outstanding Linebacker by the Florida Media in 1984. Bob was an integral part of the defense for the Miami Dolphins in Superbowls XVII and XIX. In 13 years of professional football, a long time for a linebacker, Bob Brudzinski recorded over 600 tackles, played in three Superbowls and voted to the Dolphin?s 25th Silver Anniversary team.

In 2002, Bob Brudzinski was awarded the ?The Silver Anniversary Edition of the Butkus Award,? named in honor of Mr. Dick Butkus. The Dick Butkus award has achieved a level of recognition arguably second only to the longer running Heisman Trophy and honors the best linebacker in college football.

Eddie and Bob met at a football game and became fast friends. Together the two friends became business partners and opened their first Bru?s Room Sports Bar and Eddie Hauck?s Wings ?N Ribs in Margate, Florida in 1989. And the rest is history.
