This gift certificate entitles you and guest to enjoy a whitewater rafting or tubing adventure during the 2020 season. The trip must be used between May-September, 2020 for a Sunday through Friday adventure (Saturday use is not eligible.) Bring a friend for a wonderful adventure in the outdoors!
Kennebec River Rafting is renowned for its breathtaking wilderness setting, exhilarating high-volume whitewater with 6 to 8 foot waves and large holes in rapids that live up to their names like Rock Garden, Big Mama, Whitewasher and the power of the infamous Magic Falls. Opportunities abound to watch other rafters try their luck at the rapids. Rafting trips often stop to explore some of the streams, waterfalls and swimming holes the gorge has to offer.
All Kennebec River Rafting Trips include a snack and drink on the river and a complete homemade meal sure to cure any paddler?s appetite followed by a slide and video presentation of your day on the river.
Or, maybe tubing is more your speed! Floating down the Kennebec offers a relaxed and scenic adventure where you can sit back and bond with the river and its long history. Wildlife can be seen on the riverbanks including deer, eagles, mergansers, moose, loons and geese.

The river trip is 6.5 miles long and takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. You will put in at the Kennebec Riverside Cabins just across the road from the Inn By The River. From there you can relax, enjoy the scenery and play along the river. The lower Kennebec River has a Whitewater Class of I and II making this trip suitable for all ages!
