The California Department of Public Health issued a mandate that all public gatherings, including concerts and presentations at Walt Disney Concert Hall, should be cancelled through May 10, 2020 to protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19.

Due to the continuing pandemic crisis, LA Phil announced on April 8 that the remainder of the 2019/2020 concert season is cancelled.
