CONCEPT
Rooster & Rice is a fast-casual concept originated from SF Bay Area specializing Khao Mun Gai or Organic Thai-Style Chicken Rice. Founded by veteran restauranteur Bryan Lew & Chef Thomas Charoen.
Bryan Lew - Born and raised in SF and has worked in restaurants since he was 15. He has worked his way up through many different positions in various restaurant concepts in SF, Hawaii, Atlanta, and Houston.
Thomas Charoen - This Thai born chef has worked in different cuisine from Thailand, Las Vegas, and Bay Area. The infamous Mother Sauce is his mother's recipe.

"Khao mun gai, a popular dish in Thailand, consists of poached chicken served over a bed of rice cooked in chicken broth and topped with a spicy fermented soybean sauce with ginger, chili and garlic.
