Description

Nachume Miller is a German-born abstract expressionist artist whose works have been exhibited in the MoMa and Guggenheim museums, as well as Tibor de Nagy gallery and Exit Art.

This piece is a mezzotint etching on archival museum quality paper, produced during the ?Looking At? series in 1979. During this period, Miller focused on depicting scenes of domestic life: laborers, construction workers and farmers. At this time he was influenced by traditional Greek relief sculptures, Dutch still life artists, and muralists.
