When Mattia paints she likes to use different mediums as is obvious in this painting. There is never a plan on what is going to be painted, it just happens! In "Bird Watching" it is obvious that we see a bird to the right and two figures to the left, bird watching. One would ?imagine? what they are saying... ?a vision of beauty""

About the Artist:
From an early age Mattia Spadola has expressed a great passion for painting and creating art. With her God given tools, her hands, are the preferred tool of choice. Mattia?s paintings reveal a certain artistic confidence, showing a wonderful sense of colour harmony.
Mattia?s uninhibited exploration and total immersion in her work was enhanced during her classroom experience at the Ottawa School of Art in the summer of 1991. Since 2002 Mattia has continued to experience the many facts of art through various materials and programs.
Most of the artwork produced by Mattia that you see today was created with her good friend and muse Nadia Osman. Nadia brings out creativity in Mattia like no other instructor has in the past. Mattia and Nadia enjoy listening to music, singing and laughing while painting; sometimes Mattia even ends up with paint on her nose and glasses at the end of the night.
For the past 7 years Mattia has been focused on creating bodies of work which she has privately exhibited and sold with success, inspiring Nadia to promote her work.
