Description
An original oil painting by Robert Abele III. Robert Abele III is an American fine artist born in 1969 and raised in Bronxville, NY. His childhood summers were spent on the Long Island sound in Madison, CT. The coastline and tidal pools were a rich source of inspiration and Robert spent many hours collecting and recording the sea life and found objects through drawings and paintings. Robert received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NYC in 1993 and studied at the Art Students League, NYC for 10 years. Robert moved to Dartmouth in 2011 where his wife Lisa was born and is raising his two children along the South Coast, a very similar environment to the one of his childhood. Robert received his MFA from the University of Massachusetts in 2018. Robert is currently a High School/Middle School Art Teacher at Pilgrim Academy in Plymouth MA.
