Description

Jena designed a custom piece just for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

This antique ephemera mixed media is called "Henry the VIII".

Jena Priebe, a resident of Los Angeles, is a sculptor and installation artist. She works primarily with vintage ephemera. She covets old paper, books and music sheets. Priebe has shown at MASS MoCA, Burning Man, The Maloof Foundation Sculpture Garden, The Last Bookstore and has many permanent installations in and around Los Angeles.

Growing up reading endlessly and performing music, she riffled through endless pages. She believes that you can live a thousand lives through the pages of books. That music on the page jumps and dances with its notes.

She loves still action creation and adding movement to still objects. Creating these magical sculptures is an expression of the joy and endless possibility that these mediums can express.
