Artist Bio
Larsen is a veteran of over 45 plein air competitions and invitationals, and is recognized with over 170 awards. He has been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, Plein Air Magazine, Outdoor Painter, and Southwest Art Magazine. He received a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. and is a member of Oil Painters of America (Signature), ASMA American Society of Marine Artists, Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association, AIS, and Salmagundi Club NY.
In addition to being an artist, Larsen is a teacher, a writer (nominated for poet Laureate of Nassau County, NY), a film and television actor, and he plays a mean blues harp.
